An elderly woman, 73 year old Darlene Mayes is known to be one
of Oklahoma’s biggest drug kingpins. Police entered her house and found 4 bags
of pot and 276,000 cash in bundles of 15,000. She told police that it was part
of her retirement fund. Investigators say
she was selling pot in four different states Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas and
Missouri. Police say she supplies up to 40% percent of the pot in this area.
Her son was also involved in the network, he was also arrested. Police say that
Mayes may have been the captain of this network for over 20 years.
