Child finger found in a trash bin at a housing complex. The
finger were found around a month ago says the Honolulu Police Department. They
are testing to determine that the fingers are a child’s. The fingers are supposedly
girls from the age of 2 and a half to 4 years old. There were six fingers found
in the trash bin. Gina Rose Vendegna found the fingers in a zippered plastic
bag, she said she accidently mistook them for ginger root and took them home. When
she got home she realized that they were finger and not ginger root. There have
been no evidence to who’s finger they were.

Shooting at a Jacksonville High School
A former employee of Episcopal High School in Jacksonville
Florida came back to the high school on Tuesday and shot and killed the
headmistress then killed himself. Shane Schumerth was fired the Tuesday before,
he returned the next Tuesday with a gun. He shot Dale Regan who was only 63 years old.
Regan had worked at the school for more than 30 years. No students were hurt
during the shooting. The school was put on lock down but the students though it
was just a drill. A few minutes into the lock down students in one class
started getting text messages saying that someone had been shot.
